Description

Measuring larger distances with a magnifier is limited by the length of the scales and is only possible to a limited extent. For quick and easy determination of lengths and distances, RL precision steel measuring bars are an ideal complement.

They are available in four lengths of 100 mm, 212 mm, 300 mm, and 400 mm, with one or two magnifiers (Crack magnifier RL-10 without scale) and are delivered in a carrying case. The magnifier moves on a guide rail, which is mounted on the scale. When measuring length and distance, it must be ensured that the scale is placed parallel to the material to avoid measurement errors. Standard steel RL, with an accuracy of ± 0.02 mm. Test protocols are available for purchase as an accessory.

The four standard lengths of the precision steel measuring bar are available with one or two magnifiers with 10x magnification. In addition, both versions are available as separate models with LED lighting.

Please note that when using two magnifiers, the distance from center to center of the magnifiers is approximately 32 mm from the lowest readable value.

Factory calibration certificate (300 and 400 mm and 212 mm) or DAkkS (100). The delivery time is then extended by approximately two weeks.

For installation, we offer four metal standards according to order number RL-OA as a plain standard without magnifying glass or other superstructures.

Technical data for metal standards RL:

  • Measuring scale: Graduation = 0.1 mm, marked 0 10 20 … (mm)
  • The graduations and numbers for stainless steel are laser-engraved.
  • Accuracy of length ± 0.02 mm over the entire measuring length (at 20 degrees Celsius)
  • Thermal expansion coefficient: 0% per =% RLF
  • Material = 1-4301
  • Scale not centered on average – centered on metal body
  • Length of metal body:
  • 100 mm = total length 150 mm (+ 0.2 mm)
  • 212 mm = total length 262 mm (+ 0.2 mm)
  • 300 mm = total length 350 mm (+ 0.2 mm)
  • 400 mm = total length 450 mm (+ 0.2 mm)
  • Width of metal body = 19.6 mm (DIN 7168 medium)
